Welcome to the City of Willow Park Municipal Court Procedures web site. Although the information provided herein will assist you in obtaining fine amounts, forms, and the instructions necessary to take care of your case, you must contact the court by the appearance date located at the bottom of your citation.

The mission of the Willow Park Municipal Court is to remain independent and impartial; provide service and ensure due process of the law to the public with fairness, and integrity, completing court business in a timely and efficient manner while following the rule of law; treating everyone individually with respect; and addressing individual situations on a case by case basis and providing defendants with necessary information and options to complete their business in an informed manner.

Court Dockets are typically held every 4th Wednesday of the month.  Some months may be different due to Holidays or Conflicts. To schedule a time to speak with Prosecutor or Judge you must contact the court to be put on the next available Docket. 

Only the Judge Dockets are open to the public except for Juvenile and Indigent Dockets.

There are also Bench Trials scheduled for October 24th.

Jurisdiction & Functions

The Municipal Court of Willow Park has jurisdiction over Class C misdemeanors issued by City of Willow Park Police Officers, Code Enforcement Officers, Animal Control Officers, and the Fire Marshal.

Responsibilities

The Court Clerk's Office is responsible for processing the clerical work of the Municipal Court, setting trial dockets, collecting court fines and fees, maintaining court records, and performing administrative duties delegated by the Municipal Court Judge.

Clerks are not licensed attorneys and cannot provide legal advice. Clerks can only give information to the person who the citation was given to unless a plea has been entered already or it is a juvenile.

Please allow 3 working days for processing and filing of citations before contacting the Willow Park Municipal Court regarding a citation.

After contacting the Municipal Court, payments on citations may be sent to the address listed below.

After hours payments may be left at the Drop Box located at the front of the City Municipal Building (the same Night Drop used for water payments). To insure proper credit and timely posting toward your case PLEASE address the OUTSIDE of your payment envelope to the MUNICIPAL COURT.
