Water meter replacements begin this week

Attention Willow Park water customers:

The City of Willow Park will be upgrading your property’s water meter to a more advanced metering technology that will positively impact both the environment and Willow Park’s ability to accurately and efficiently serve your water needs. Willow Park has contracted with Utiliuse and Aquametrics to perform the meter change-out.

Utiliuse/Aquametrics technicians will be onsite at your property within the next several weeks to install a new meter and radio transceiver. Work will begin this week on Route 15, which is the Hunter's Glen neighborhood. Before the work is performed, you should receive a door hanger from the city notifying you that your property is next on the list.

The Utiliuse/Aquametrics technician will be clearly identifiable with a company vest and identification badge. You are not required to be present during the meter change out and there will be no damage to your property surrounding the meter box. Upon arrival, Utiliuse/Aquametrics technicians will notify anyone at the property of a brief water outage.

Your water service will be temporarily disconnected for approximately 3 – 5 minutes to replace the existing meter. This process should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. We appreciate your patience as the work is being completed. Should you have any questions or feedback, please contact the City of Willow Park at 817-441-7108.
