Today is National Voter Registration Day! Are you ready to vote in the Nov. 3 election? This fall's ballot not only includes federal and state-level races, it also includes local elections at the county level.

-If you're newly 18 (or will be by Election Day), new to the area, or simply haven't taken care of it yet, make sure you REGISTER TO VOTE by the Oct. 5 deadline

-If you've moved recently or changed your name, be sure to AMEND your registration with the correct legal information by the Oct. 5 deadline

-If you haven't had any changes lately, we still encourage you to CONFIRM that your registration is active with the Parker County Elections office by the Oct. 5 deadline.

A few reminders about voting this fall:

- Willow Park City Hall will NOT be a polling location in the November election. Early voting will be held at the Aledo ISD administration building and Hudson Oaks City Hall, and Willow Park Baptist Church will be an election day polling site.

-Early Voting in this election will run longer than usual in an effort to mitigate crowded conditions at polling sites. Voting begins Tuesday, Oct. 13.
