About Us

The Willow Park Volunteer Department was established in 1971. The department was established by a group of volunteers who were dedicated to protecting the citizens of Willow Park from the threat of fires. The Willow Park Department has evolved in many ways over the past 43 years.

In 2014 The City of Willow Park established a city fire department consisting of both Emergency Service (EMS) personnel and Fire Fighter personnel. At that time a Volunteer Fire Department was established within the city department with a Board of Directors.

The Willow Park Fire/Rescue Department now has a full-time staff but also has a group of volunteers who are still dedicated to serving the citizens of Willow Park.

Today the Willow Park Fire/Rescue Department is continuing to serve the citizens of Willow Park by providing fire suppression, emergency medical services, fire prevention, vehicle extractions, hazardous material response, and emergency management.
