The Willow Park Fire/Rescue Department was established in 1971. The department was established by a group of volunteers who were dedicated to protecting the citizens of Willow Park from the threat of fires. The Willow Park Fire/Rescue Department has evolved in many ways over the past 39 years. Today the Willow Park Fire/Rescue Department is continuing to serve the citizens of Willow Park by providing fire suppression, emergency medical services, fire prevention, vehicle extrications, hazardous material response, and emergency management. The Willow Park Fire/Rescue Department now has a full time staff but still has a dedicated group of volunteers who are still dedicated to serving the citizens of Willow Park.
